ELGENS conducts NVIS compatibility testing to validate the optical performance of rugged military displays in low-light and nighttime operational environments. The test evaluates luminance control, spectral emission management, light leakage suppression, contrast readability, and visual performance when operating with Night Vision Imaging Systems.

 

For military vehicle platforms, command-and-control systems, naval applications, and field-deployed equipment, NVIS-compatible display performance is essential to maintaining situational awareness and mission effectiveness. Uncontrolled brightness or improper spectral output may interfere with night vision devices and reduce operator visibility.

 

Through NVIS display validation, ELGENS demonstrates its capabilities in optical design, rugged display engineering, and military-grade performance verification, delivering reliable display solutions for demanding night operation environments.

In outdoor and field environments, water and moisture can disrupt PCAP touch, causing false touches or unstable cursor behavior—even in Glove mode.

This 43-inch 4K rugged marine display is engineered for naval and commercial vessel bridge rooms, delivering crisp visuals for navigation and situational awareness. The robust flush / panel-mount design with dual side handles simplifies bridge console integration and service.


Front-side OSD controls allow quick brightness adjustment, supporting dim-to-black and sunlight-readable operation for day, dusk, and night modes. Purpose-built for demanding maritime use, it ensures reliable performance in mission-critical bridge and control applications.

Before shipment, each ELGENS LDK‑Series 20” x 8” rugged bar‑type stretched display undergoes long‑duration burn‑in and 24/7 operation testing to verify stability and minimize image retention, meeting mission‑critical aviation requirements for continuous operation.

 

Designed for space‑constrained cockpit and avionics integration, it delivers high‑brightness clarity with an ultra‑wide 2560 × 1024 resolution and a 20” x 8” active area (approx. 508 mm × 203 mm). Key features include Normally Black wide viewing angles, an anti‑glare (AG) surface, reinforced mechanics, -30°C to +70°C operation, and verified vibration resistance (10–55 Hz).

 

The 20” x 8” form factor also supports redundant display designs; backup power, signal paths, or a secondary panel can help prevent interruptions and improve mission‑critical reliability.

By dropping a steel ball above the screen, we have verified our P-cap touch screen with a 6 mm coverglass.  The testing result is passed and amazing.

01. Simulation of small raining situation
The P-cap Touch Function is passed by 90 degree normal installation outdoor. No influenced.

02. Simulation of the huge rain with some water when Panel PC lays on 180 degrees. The touch function works in major area, but once the water area enlarges, it influences the touch function at water area, the other area function is still no influenced.

03. Simulation the heavy rain with big area water when Panel PC lays on 180 degrees. The touch function is NG for the water area, even no touch on display but water area show incorrect Touch signal.
Normally the Touch Panel should be standing Vertical by 90 degrees.( our testing is the most strict one for flat 180 degrees )Over all, the touch function are passed after wipe the water.

Timezero Navigator Version 4 Compatibility Test
